Who We Work With

At KMJ Surveying we understand what Surveyors do is a mystery to many people. We see it as part of our service to assist you to understand what it is we do, why you need us and how we can benefit you. We know a good Surveyor is needed for successful land development outcomes and that’s what KMJ Surveying offers.

KMJ Surveying welcomes the opportunity to work with all clients that typically may range from one-off clients needing a boundary marking or a new home detail survey and set-out, to ‘Mum and Dad’ or first-time developers wishing to improve their bottom line with a ‘simple’ 2 lot subdivision. We particularly enjoy these opportunities and offer the service of not only surveying but also planning and project management, with the aim of minimising what can be a stressful process. Subdivisions need people with experience and relationships and KMJ Surveying offers that. We see our role as educating our clients about what’s involved and what to expect, the good the bad and the ugly you could say, and we do this in the best way possible with open and clear communication.

KMJ Surveying is regularly working with Councils, experienced developers, mining and construction companies delivering on a range of services they need Surveyors for. Our work ranges from all the initial detail surveys, volume surveys, set-out and works as executed surveys for roads, roundabouts, sewer and stormwater infrastructure, pedestrian paths and buildings. This work is mostly undertaken by our Engineering Surveying team. Then there’s the work of our Registered Surveyors for these projects for easements, road resumptions, boundary adjustments, subdivisions and the project management of all these specialties. These works are carried out in our region’s cities, towns, villages and rural areas.

One of our most noted and proud working relationships is with Veolia at the Tarago Woodlawn Bioreactor facility. Since its beginnings 25 years ago we’ve undertaken and managed all its complex surveying requirements utilising all available technologies such as Total Stations, GPS, Drones and Scanners. KMJ Surveying co-owner Michael Kadziela is Veolia’s go to consultant to manage road and dam infrastructure projects. This long and respected relationship has thrived built on our business principles for high standard of customer service and communication, attention to efficiency, quality and innovation, and contribution to profession and community.
