Justin Kell – Director and Registered Surveyor
Justin, along with co-director Michael Kadziela, is an inaugural director of KMJ Surveying commencing operations from Goulburn in September 2023. Prior to this role Justin was a director and branch manager of the LandTeam Goulburn branch, a position he held for 15 years.
Justin joined his father Russell’s surveying business, which commenced in Goulburn in 1961, in a full-time role in 1999 upon graduating from the University of Newcastle and became a Registered Surveyor in 2001. Justin worked with his father up until 2004 prior to Russell’s retirement and then continued the business independently up until its merger with LandTeam in 2008.
In his 25 years working as a Surveyor in Goulburn, Justin has established himself as a competent and respected rural and urban subdivision project manager, working in this capacity on many of Goulburn’s residential developments, and most recently the Joseph’s Gate residential estate located off Taralga Road. Justin approaches land development with his 20+ years of experience with a realistic attitude to what is possible and knowing a step-by-step approach is necessary. In addition, Justin acknowledges the importance of building relationships with all stakeholders including authorities and specialist consultants, who all play a crucial role in the success of any development.
Following in his father’s footsteps in more than just surveying, Justin is community minded having been a Rotarian for 10 years and an environmental conservation volunteer team leader with Bush Heritage Australia, an organisation he has been volunteering with for 17 years.
